Believe it or not, hydration is important – especially before donating blood!



Getting yourself hydrated is essential. It is recommended that you drink at least 16oz of water before you donate because it relieves light-headedness and makes it easier to draw blood from your veins.

Also, avoid caffeine – it dehydrates you! Chug that H2O and make a difference today!
